Summary of FTR#601—(Note: The massive
volume of ‘For The Record’ programs about 9/11 and related topics is summarized
and analyzed in the periodically-updated description for FTR#391. FTR#’s
454, 455, 456 are compilations of much of the key documentation
culled from Mr. Emory’s investigation into 9/11. Along with FTR#391, they should give
listeners/readers a substantive grasp of this momentous event. It is
recommended that listeners use this description and e-mail it to others.) Much of Mr. Emory’s
discussion of 9/11 and related matters has focused on the Muslim Brotherhood,
an Islamic fascist organization that supported the Axis in World War II. The
parent organization of Al Qaeda and Hamas, the Brotherhood’s corporatist
economic philosophy has won approval in a growing number of Western business circles.
News of the Brotherhood is prominent in this broadcast as well. After
presenting Brotherhood associate Achmed Huber’s analysis of September 11, the
program sets forth the House of Representatives’ vote to discontinue aid to
Saudi Arabia because of its support of terrorism. [The CIA resettled much of
the Muslim Brotherhood in Saudi Arabia after Egyptian president Nasser expelled
the organization from the land of the Nile.] The Bush administration is
considering a diplomatic rapprochement with the Brotherhood, viewed by some
administration personnel as a viable diplomatic ally in the Muslim world. The
charter of Hamas, a Brotherhood offshoot, is more revealing of the
organization’s true character, drawing heavily on Nazi and fascist ideological
themes. After reviewing some of [Saudi] Prince Bandar’s intrigue on behalf of
Western intelligence, the aerospace industry and the Saudi royal family, the
program presents still more discussion about the relationship between Islamism,
the narcotics trade, organized crime and elements of the intelligence
community.
Program Highlights Include: The employment of alleged terrorist
conspirator Joseph Defreitas with a subsidiary of CIA Air proprietary Evergreen
Aviation; Hamas’ agreement to continue a deal to allow a British corporation to
drill for natural gas off of Gaza; the use of the hashish trade by European
Islamists to generate funds for terrorism; review of a 2002 meeting of
prominent European fascists and Islamists.

Beginning with an Islamofascist’s analysis of 9/11, the program
highlights Al Taqwa’s Achmed Huber. Huber’s analysis of the attacks is similar
to Mr. Emory’s—that the attacks were launched by a milieu of domestic
right-wingers, aided by foreign and American Islamofascists. The purpose,
according to Huber, was to bring about a 1933-style upheaval like the one that
brought Hitler to power. Huber presents America as run by “Zionists” and
“Jews.” It is Huber’s belief that events following the attacks—the invasion of
Iraq in particular—will disillusion the American people with their “Zionist”
government. (For more about Huber, see—among other programs—FTR#’s 343, 352, 354, 371, 456.) Note that Huber’s
analysis is remarkably similar to Mr. Emory’s working hypothesis, which
attributes the attacks to an Underground Reich milieu consisting of domestic
and foreign neo-Nazis, domestic and foreign Islamists, and elements within the
Bush administration. “I have my own idea about
11 September. Among Muslims it’s a very controversial debate. Many Muslims
still believe that the 11th of September was organized by the CIA
and the Mossad to bring closer together the relationship between Israel and the
United States, and to help make war in the Middle East, and to put under
Western-Jewish control the most important geo-political zone on earth, which is
the Middle East. I believe that 11 September, but I have no proof, was
organized by American patriots, Muslims and non-Muslims together with the help
of foreign Muslims residing in the United States.” (The Enemy of

Huber sets forth the types of people who attended at his lecture tours
in the United States and who, in his opinion, were behind the 9/11 attacks.
Note that he feels that people from the right-wing of the GOP were part of the
9/11 milieu. (For more about the GOP/Islamist/Al Taqawa connection, see—among

462, 464, 467, 515, 538.) “From 1988 to 1998, I was in America every year, at Islamic
conferences. I made big lecture tours through the United States and I always
met three groups of people at these conferences. There were American right-wing
people . . . people who were rather close to the extreme right of the
Republican Party, or other independent right-wing groups. Then [the second
group was] Muslims, young American Muslim patriots, who came from Muslim
countries. And then [the third group was] the Nation of Islam people. And these
three groups . . . always told me two things. They said, ‘We must free American
from Jewish-Zionist rule.’ And two, ‘Then we must change the foreign policy of
the United States toward the national interests of the American people. . . .
We must end this Jewish-Zionist rule over America.’ And when I asked, them,
‘How will you do it?’ they said, ‘Well, we have friends in very high places and
there will be a big bang. It will happen here to wake up the American people,
you know, like Pearl Harbor.’ Pearl
Harbor was organized by Roosevelt and his Jewish [advisers] to provoke Japan to
attack America. Then Hitler would immediately declare war on America. It was
not Japan—they really wanted America to go to war against Germany. . . . Then
the way was open to make war against Germany. And this is what these people
told me. Something similar will happen here. They said, ‘You will hear a big
bang.’” (Ibid.; pp. 236-237.)

“And then came the 11th of September, and my
Egyptian wife said, ‘You see the Mossad and the CIA.’ And I believed it also.
But then I got telephone calls from American friends, and they said, ‘See now
they have done it.’ I said. What?’ and then they said to me, they have done it,
and then the coin was dropped. I said, ‘This is counterproductive. This 11
September will provoke a huge alliance of American and Israeli Zionism against
Islam, against the Muslim world.’ And they told me, ‘Yes, it will be at the
beginning, but then America will get into difficult days and after some time,
the American people will wake up. When it is up to the nose in difficult
days—political, economic, war, and so on—they will ask who is responsible for
this. And they will say it’s the Jews and the Zionists.’ One told me that
around the beginning of September 2001, a telephone call, a very good friend of
mine, told me, ‘You know Ahmed, then we will have 1933.’ And then of course, I
knew. He said that the American people will wake up [as did] the German people
[woke] up in 1933. For me, I still didn’t believe it. Now the more and more
things go on, I see how Bush and all his experts, I mean Mr. Wolfowitz, Mr.
Perle, Mr. Kissinger, Mr. Feingold, I say maybe there is something to what my
friends in America told me. It is possible now that things will go in that
direction. You know. In the 1990’s, when I was in America , we were talking
about how to change Jewish rule in America. For me, a Swiss, it was
fascinating. One of these young persons said, ‘You know, we may have many
sympathizers in the American Army, and if necessary the American Army will make
a coup d’etat against the Zionist-American regime in Washington.’” (Ibid.; p. 237.)

Next, the program
revisits a point of information discussed in—among other programs—FTR#’s 378, 456, 535. In the spring of
2002, as the preparations for the Iraq war were underway, Al Taqwa director
Achmed Huber networked with other American and European fascists and far
rightists, including Gianfranco Fini, head of the Italian Alleanza Nationale. Might
the meeting have had something to do with Iraq? Had the “Atlanticist”
orientation of the P-2 milieu been superseded by an anti-U.S./Third Position
orientation in the Italian fascist milieu? Did this meeting have anything to do
with the feeding of false intelligence to the US in order to lure the country
into a draining, expensive and (ultimately) fatal war with the Muslim
population of the “Earth Island”? Was this meeting in keeping with the
perception discussed by Huber in the quote above? Note in this regard, that
Fini is currently the Italian foreign minister. Is it possible that the man
(Fini) who characterized Mussolini as “the greatest statesman of the 20th
century” has not changed his stripes? Is it possible that he was conferring
with the other European fascist leaders in order to help lure the US into a
trap in Iraq, with the results discussed with his far-right American friends? (For

535, 592, 595, 600.) “Perhaps the most recent remarkable story concerning Huber
comes from a brief item in the Swiss tabloid Blick that in an April 26,
2002 article by Alexander Sautter that Huber was involved in a meeting of
far-right leaders from Europe. A photo showing Huber with Jean Marie Le Pen
accompanies the article. The Blick story (available on the web) is as
follows: ‘Mon Pelerin VD: Christian Cambuzat, the promoter (Scharfmacher)
of the right extremist Jean-Marie Le Pen (73): The guru assembles together some
of the top leaders of the European right. On the idyllic Mont Pelerin, they
debate their crude ideas. At his secret visit to a spa in Switzerland, Le Pen
hardly remained alone. Rightist leaders from all over Europe traveled to meet
the extremist presidential candidate who was hosted by Cambuzat. Franz
Schonhuber (79). Founder of the Republican Party in Germany and a former member
of the SS. He talked with Le Pen who constitutes together with Schonhuber the
‘Front National’ Faction in the European parliament. Gianfranco Fini (50).
Italian post-fascist, Mussolini admirer, and founder of the Alleanze Nationale.
He also was at the meeting with Le Pen and Schonhuber. Ahmed Huber (74). The
Swiss is on the Bush Administration blacklist . . . ‘I met le Pen at Mont
Pelerin as he went to Christian Cambuzat’s spa,’ Huber told Blick yesterday. At
the extremist rendezvous an American far right politician was also supposed to
have taken part. [Note: the American is not further identified.—KC] Christian
Cambuzat said that Le Pen (after the election) had again become the sharpest
weapon of the ‘Front National’ because Le Pen changed his image from a venomous
old man to a ‘kindly U.S. TV evangelist.’ Proudly Cambuzat brags, ‘With me Le
Pen can relax well’ [from his political endeavors—KC]. And openly link up with
new contacts. [Although the Blick story does not give details, Cambuzat
runs a spa for the very rich, the Lemanique de Revitalisation, inside a hotel
on the famous Mont Pelerin.]’” (“Report

In a number of past broadcasts, we have discussed the fact that members
of the bin Laden family were allowed to leave the U.S. after 9/11 without being
properly interrogated. Some of them appear to have been involved with
terrorist-related activities. (For more about this flight, see—among other
programs—FTR#’s 423, 460, 467.) This program
discloses that the bin Laden family flight may have been chartered by Osama bin
Laden himself! “Osama bin Laden may have
chartered a plane that carried his family members and Saudi nationals out of
the United States after the September 11, 2001 attacks, said FBI documents
released Wednesday. The papers, obtained through the Freedom of Information
Act, were made public by Judicial Watch, a Washington-based group that investigates
government corruption. One FBI document referred to a Ryan Air 727 airplane
that departed Los Angeles International Airport on September 19, 2001, and was
said to have carried Saudi nationals out of the United States. ‘The plane was
chartered either by the Saudi Arabian royal family or Osama bin Laden,’
according to the document, which was among 224 pages posted online. The flight
made stops in Orlando, Florida; Washington, DC; and Boston, Massachusetts and
eventually left its passengers in Paris the following day. In all, the
documents detail six flights between September 14 and September 24 that
evacuated Saudi nationals and bin Laden family members, Judicial Watch said in
a statement. ‘Incredibly, not a single Saudi national nor any of the bin Laden
family members possessed any information of investigative value,’ Judicial Watch said.
‘These documents contain numerous errors and inconsistencies which call to
question the thoroughness of the FBI's investigation of the Saudi flights. . .
. Meredith Diliberto, an attorney with Judicial Watch, said that her group had
seen a first version of the documents in 2005, although the FBI had heavily
redacted the texts to black out names, including all references to bin Laden.
Nevertheless, unedited footnotes in the texts allowed lawyers to determine that
bin Laden's name had been redacted. They pressed the issue in court and in
November 2006, the FBI was ordered to re-release the documents. Diliberto said
mention that ‘either’ bin Laden or Saudi royals had chartered the flight
‘really threw us for a loop.’ ‘When you combine that with some of the family

With a Democratic congress in power,
the culpability of the Saudis with international terrorism has not gone
completely unanswered. Although it faces the threat of a veto by President
Bush, the House of Representatives voted to cut off aid to Saudi Arabia,
because of that country’s violations of human rights and their support for
terrorism. “The U.S. House of
Representatives voted on Friday to prohibit any aid to Saudi Arabia as
lawmakers accused the close ally of religious intolerance and bankrolling
terrorist organizations. The prohibition, reflecting persistent tensions with
the kingdom after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States in 2001, was attached
to a foreign aid funding bill for next year that has not yet been debated by

The Islamist links to the GOP may be bearing fruit. [For more about

of reaching out to the party that founded modern political Islam, the Muslim

American deliberations and diplomacy with the organization, known in Arabic as
Ikhwan, take on new significance in light of Hamas's successful coup in Gaza
last week. The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood is widely reported to have helped

By way of illustrating the fascist nature of the Brotherhood, consider
the charter of Hamas, a Brotherhood offshoot. The anti-Semitism expressed here
has definite European fascist overtone. Note the references to the Jews being
behind all wars and revolutions, controlling finance and media and the references
to “Jewish control” or genesis of the Freemasons, the Rotary Club, etc. This is
straight Nazi/fascist ideology. Note also the references to the Protocols of
the Elders of Zion. “ . . . For our struggle
against the Jews is extremely wide-ranging and grave, so much so that it will
need all the loyal efforts we can wield, to be followed by further steps and
reinforced by successive battalions from the multifarious Arab and Islamic
world, until the enemies are defeated and Allah’s victory prevails. …The prophet,
prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will
fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees,
which will cry: O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill

have consolidated their schemes, in order to achieve what they have achieved.
They took advantage of key elements in unfolding events, and accumulated a huge
and influential material wealth which they put to the service of implementing
their dream. This wealth [permitted them to] take over control of the world
media such as news agencies, the press, publication houses, broadcasting and
the like. [They also used this] wealth to stir revolutions in various parts of
the globe in order to fulfill their interests and pick the fruits. They stood
behind the French and the Communist Revolutions and behind most of the

organizations which are spreading around the world, in order to destroy
societies and carry out Zionist interests. Such organizations are: the
Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, B’nai B’rith and the like. All of them
are destructive spying organizations. They also used the money to take over
control of the Imperialist states and made them colonize many countries in
order to exploit the wealth of those countries and spread their corruption
therein. As regards local and world wars, it has come to pass and no one
objects, that they stood behind World War I, so as to wipe out the Islamic
Caliphate. They collected material gains and took control of many sources of
wealth. They obtained the Balfour Declaration and established the League of
Nations in order to rule the world by means of that organization. They also
stood behind World War II, where they collected immense benefits from trading
with war materials and prepared for the establishment of their state. They
inspired the establishment of the United Nations and the Security Council to
replace the League of Nations, in order to rule the world by their
intermediary. There was no war that broke out anywhere without their
fingerprints on it…Their scheme has been laid out in the Protocols of the
Elders of Zion, and their present [conduct] is the best proof of what is said
there… Within the circle of the conflict with world Zionism, the Hamas regards
itself the spearhead and the avant-garde. It joins its efforts to all those who
are active on the Palestinian scene, but more steps need to be taken by the
Arab and Islamic peoples and Islamic associations throughout the Arab and
Islamic world in order to make possible the next round with the Jews, the
merchants of war. . . .” (Idem.)

Next, the broadcast revisists the web of corruption and scandal
surrounding Saudi Prince Bandar, a former Ambassador to the United States so
close to the Bush family that he is sometimes referred to as “Bandar Bush.” A
recent British aerospace scandal involving the alleged placement of billions of
dollars in bribes to Bandar has refocused journalistic attention on the Prince
and his shenanigans. If Bandar and his accounts at Riggs Bank were to be fully
investigated, many cans of worms would be revealed. Bandar had long used the
bank to provide finances for Saudi-assisted US covert operations. In addition,
Bandar’s wife was providing financial support to the families of the two of the
9/11 hijackers. (For more about Riggs, Bandar and the scandals in which they
have been involved, check out—among other programs—FTR#’s 431, 442, 461, 517. Be sure to use the search
function on the Bandar/Riggs relationship.) “Hundreds
of pages of confidential U.S. bank records may be the missing link in
illuminating new allegations that a major British arms contractor funneled up
to $2 billion in questionable payments to Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan. The
BBC and Guardian newspaper reported last week that BAE Systems made
"secret" payments to a Washington, D.C., bank account controlled by
Bandar, the longtime Saudi ambassador to the United States who is now the
kingdom's national-security adviser. The payments are alleged to be part of an
$80 billion military-aircraft deal between London and Riyadh. Last week British
Prime Minister Tony Blair acknowledged that his government shut down an investigation
into the payments, in part because it could have led to the "complete
wreckage" of Britain's "vital strategic relationship" with Saudi
Arabia. Before the U.K. closed the inquiry, British investigators contacted the
U.S. Justice Department seeking access to records related to the Saudi bank
accounts. Many of these records were first obtained by NEWSWEEK in 2004. At the
time, the magazine reported that federal regulators had been alerted to
millions of dollars in ‘suspicious’ activities in Saudi accounts at the

In Mr. Emory’s many visits with Daniel
Hopsicker, we have examined the connections between Islamist terror and
organized crime activities. Apparently, hashish trafficking can be added to the
criminal activities used to generate funds for Islamist terrorists. “Cannabis smokers are unwittingly funding Islamist
extremists linked to terror attacks in Spain, Morocco and Algeria, according to
a joint investigation by the Spanish and French secret services. The finding
will be seized on both by campaigners for a harsher clampdown on cannabis and
by those who argue that legalization is the only way to end a petty dealing
trend that is dragging growing numbers of teenagers into crime. The
investigation by the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia and the Renseignements
Generaux was launched after Spanish police found that the Islamists behind the
March 2004 bombings in Madrid bought their explosives from former miners in
return for blocks of hashish. The bombings claimed 191 lives. . . .” (“Cannabis

In our visits with Daniel Hopsicker, we have seen how some of the 9/11
hijackers infiltrated into the United States through the intelligence
community’s controlled drug-smuggling networks. (For more about this, see—among

the CIA drug airlines was Air America. It was succeeded by, among other
entities, Evergreen Air. “In the end, Oceanside
finished second in the bidding, beaten by Evergreen International Aviation Inc.

Evergreen Airlines – the CIA's (contract) airline that replaced Air America of
the Vietnam era – worked an insider deal with the Aero Club of SoCal (the

surprisingly, McMinnville, Ore., Evergreen's headquarters in the wine country

Evergreen was the employer of Joseph Defreitas, a suspect in an alleged
plot to wreak havoc in New York City by blowing up jet fuel lines from Kennedy
airport. “Defreitas was hired by a cargo
transportation company at Kennedy Airport, Watts said. Documents show he was
employed as a "trainee supervisor" in 2001 with Evergreen Eagle, a
subsidiary of Oregon-based Evergreen International Aviation. Officials there

The “corporatist” economic philosophy of the Muslim Brotherhood may
well have been passed on to its offspring Hamas. “The
Islamist group Hamas said it will not hinder plans to drill for natural gas off
the shores of the Gaza Strip after it took control of the coastal territory a
week ago, a Hamas official said on Friday. Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas
official, said the group would not block an agreement between British gas
producer BG Group Plc and the Palestinian Authority to drill for reserves

In the concluding passage of the program, Mr. Emory returned to The
Enemy of My Enemy, reading about the Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim Arab
support for the Axis in World War II. “ . . . The
genesis of cooperation between militant Islam and the extreme right can be
traced back to the early years of the Third Reich. During World War II, much of
the Islamic world sympathized with the Axis alliance. Members of the Muslim
Brotherhood would often say prayers for an Axis victory during their meetings.
Moreover, some Muslims went so far as to fantasize over putative Islamic affinities
of fascist leaders. For example, rumors abounded that Benito Mussolini was an
Egyptian Muslim whose real name was Musa Nili (Moses of the Nile) and that
Adolf Hitler too had secretly converted to Islam and bore the name Hayder, or
‘the brave one.’ . . .” (The Enemy of My Enemy; p. 112.)
