The death cult known as “The Order of The Solar Temple” is the focus of this broadcast, which highlights aspects of the cult not covered by the mainstream press. In addition to detailing the history of the Knights Templar (a medieval order that wielded a profound influence on the Catholic Church, as well as inspiring an occult tradition), the program analyzes the influence of the Templars on Lanz von Liebenfels, a major occult influence on Hitler. The segments also detail the Gestapo background of Julien Origas (the cult’s founder), Origas’ collaboration with Mussolini’s chaplain in the founding of the sect, the cult’s connections to Mussolini supporter and former Waffen SS officer Licio Gelli and his fascist P-2 lodge, The Order’ s alleged use as a front for U.S. intelligence and far right-wing activities around the world, its connections to world leaders and indications that the cult was reorganized and re-constituted following the mass deaths of members in 1994 and 1995.
